Rotonda

Shore of Lake Mass, Telšiai

Architect - Algirdas Žebrauskas.

The rotunda is a park building. The history of their origin dates back to the times of the Roman Empire. They were installed in parks as gazebos. There are 3 such buildings in Telšiai: one on the shore of Lake Mutis near the Alka Museum and the Telšiai Faculty of Vilnius Academy of Arts, the other at the former city sauna and the third on the island. Rotundas are designed for relaxation and entertainment.
